Pelvic Floor Therapy

What is the Pelvic Floor?

The pelvic floor is a group of muscles, tendons, and ligaments that sit in the base of the pelvis. Their job is to help control bowel, bladder and sexual function. Dysfunctions in this area can be frustrating and embarassing. They often restrict you from participating in exercise, sports, social activities, and daily activities. Pelvic floor therapy is a very effective way to treat pelvic floor dysfunctions and help you get your life back.

Our Approach

We will get to the root cause of your problems by performing an in-depth evaluation your pelvic floor and musculoskeletal systems. We will then create an individualized plan including hands-on manual therapy and specific, guided exercises. That plan is re-assessed at each visit to ensure that you are making progress and reaching your goals as quickly as possible.
